I purchased this 4-pack of ink cartridges for our business' fax/printer. It gets a lot of activity (and uses an obscene amount of ink), so I've always been looking for less expensive resources for cartridges. The standard office supplies stores are a complete rip-off.
First off, these cartridges worked fine for us. I did not notice any reduction in quality compared to the original manufacturer cartridges or any of the standard re-manufactured varieties that we've tried. However, I can tell you that we definitely got FEWER printed pages from these particular ones. In general, we have been able to expect anywhere from 10 to 14 days of use from our previous cartridges, but we went through 4 of these in less than a month's time - averaging about 7 days each.
So while it's true that these are "compatible" with HP 27 cartridges, I have my doubts that they are filling these things to capacity because they do not match the page output of the other brands. I'll leave it to you to determine if this is intentional or not, but it would explain why they're so inexpensive...

I bought this refurbished combo-pack of 4 black ink cartridges for HP27. Bought it from 'ink4print'. The quality is absolutely terrible. The ink turns out very purple in color and very thin, even after doing 10 cleanings on my printer and printing many pages on 'best' printing quality. Normally, when using the original HP cartridge, the print result is very clear and black, even on 'fast draft' printing option. But with these cartridges, some of the smaller letters do not even show up at all under 'normal' printing option.

I have not had some of the issues described below. I also purchased the four pack and am on the second cartridge. I had good service and an acceptable amount of pages printed from the first one and the quality is fine.
I think that you would be hard pressed to find a better "value" in in cartridges.
